The Lifestyle of Worship

John 4:23–24 (NKJV) — 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Over time, as attender’s of church, we have come to think of worship as that time in a service where both praise and worship songs are sung before the announcements and message are given. God is actually looking for much more than a few songs sung in a Sunday service.  Renovation Worship Ministry at its heart is seeking to establish a lifestyle of worship. This description, though directed towards those on the worship team, is actually meant for every believer in Christ. The worshipper’s lifestyle is composed of a daily life of seeking the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in His word, in prayer, in worship and in service to others. Worship is all about relationship with God. As the Father is seeking worshippers, we are also seeking Him.

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) — 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
